Blanket Cleaning:

We have been in the blanket washing and repair business since 1994. All blankets and sheets are washed in our own oversize commercial front load washing machines. Recommended by top blanket manufacturers, we use NikWax Rug Cleaner, which is enviromentaly friendly, biodegradable (think green) and is formulated to safety clean waterproof blankets without harsh detergents. Wash and rinse is in cold water, with an anti-bacterial added to protect your equine, and then line dried. Blankets are then clear bagged for storage and identification. Blankets can lose their waterproof ability over time. We offer re-waterproofing for waterproof turnout blankets and sheets using NikWax Rug Proof from England. It is a wonderful product which treats the waterproofing but still allows for breathability.

 

Blanket Repairs:

We make every effort to match colors and hardware. Leg straps (nylon or elastic) can be added, changed, fronts of blankets closed or different hardware added. Surcingle hardware, straps, snaps and binding replacement. A wide selection of Cordura, packcloth, ripstop, supplex nylon, binding and webbing are stocked in a wide variety of colors for repairs. We take pride in our repair work.

**To protect your equine and others, (along with the commercial sewing machine) We ONLY repair clean blankets. No exceptions.

FREE pick-up/drop-off for quantities of 12 blankets or more within 50 miles of Lincolnton. Located outside our FREE radius ? Please call for a quote. Live nearby and want to drop your blankets off ? Please call ahead for an appointment. We also accept blankets shipped in for cleaning and repair.

Tack Repair & Saddle Fitting

We offer a limited amount of leather repair such as: buckle replacement, rein hook replacement, keepers, girth elastic, restitch stirrup leathers, leather halter parts and billet replacement on saddles. Thanks to the heavy duty sewing machine, we can also replace or restitch velcro on gallop and bell boots.
